JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT OF THE BAHAMAS

On Thursday, April 18, 2024 I was inspired by the keynote speaker for the 2024 Honors Convocation, which I was one of the honorees. Justice Joyann L. Ferguson, who is a proud graduate of Morgan State gave a wonderful speech. What stood out to me was her ending when she spoke about a letter that her father wrote her. He said now that you have your B.A I will teach you the rest of the alphabet. He was explaining to her that now you have that keep pushing for more, don't settle for least. Her life story is wonderful and inspiring.

Thank you for sharing this information about Justice Joyanne L. Ferguson. These videos and background information helped me to understand who she is and to be proud that her roots are embedded in Morgan State University. This inspired me to read more about her career. I like to see our people accomplishing what others think is impossible for people of African descent.

Super awesome and I am very pleased with your efforts! Great job! It is so refreshing to hear this type of storyline and to know that our people are still winning! One step at a time and we can do this! Yes, keep pressing and we shall all learn the alphabets!!!

Congrats and wishing you much success!!!
