After watching Dumor and Adichie's presentation I understood both of there points about Africa and life. Basically both said tell your own story don't allow anything or anyone to control your mind and your thinking. Your identity and your character is what both speakers were teaching. Do your own research because and find the truth for yourself. Passing judgement is what many do and that is unacceptable. The media has always shown us the bad side of Africa and not the good things about Africa. But actually it's a beautiful country with so much history attached to it. That has always been on my bucket list to visit Africa one day. I would love the hands on experience and see the history and the beauty of Africa for myself.

I would also love to visit Africa and see if for myself. I am over believing everything you see in the media. The media has become the outlet for persuasive opinion instead of factual news. I am glad you posted the video. It was also interesting and good to see the beauty of Africa for a change.
